YOUTH DEVELOPEMNT PROGRAM (YDP)

This is the program that engages with the needsof the youth in Nairobi's Informal Settlements:
This programme targets youth aged 13 - 25years and has so far step up 11 after school reading programmes in partnership with the local churches, then engages the youth in life skills awareness, spiritual and character formation, sports, music, drama and enterprise based vocational training

• Purpose: to offer holistic care for the young people living in the informal settlements


• How: Creating safe study spaces for children, integrating creative sport and learning, innovative learning techniques, peer-peer visitations, discipleship, mentorship, and coaching of young people living in under-resourced areas in cities
